Frances Meiser, M.E.
Author of
The Brain Train and
Overcoming Senior Moments
Author, Frances Meiser is an educator, author and pioneer in bringing new
information on brain function and its’ neuroplasticity to the educational arena
and an aging population. She is author of The Brain Train, and Overcoming
Senior Moments and Executive Director of The Brain Train Center, a nonprofit
organization
(www.braintraincenter.org), that teaches “healthy habits make healthy brains.”

At age 50, she was labeled with Attention Deficit Disorder and now she shares
with her audience, the methods she has learned to both deal with this
“diagnosis” and to overcome it. Ms. Meiser holds a BA in Elementary
Education and Early Child Development and a Masters of Education from
Concordia University in Austin, TX. She is a frequent lecturer on brain health
for both children and adults.

Frances’s first book tailored for children and their parents was entitled, The
Brain Train and targeted methods to teach children how to make a healthy brain.
Her most recent title, Overcoming Senior Moments breaks the myth that aging
creates memory loss. Within the text readers find what they need to keep their
brain working properly and guard against diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

According to Dr. Ogi Ressel, author of Kids-First: Health with No Interference,
“The techniques described in this book suggest methods that can create a
healthy brain and keep our memory sharp.” Delightfully illustrated Frances
makes a strong case for supplementation with minerals, enzymes and essential
fatty acids as well as the importance of drinking water and physical movement
(brain integration). A list of herbal brain boosters is also included with
supporting text.
